ShaneW Posted October 15, 2003 Share Posted October 15, 2003 No, the RE XXX 18 is £450, RE have taken the IDBL league (uk soundoffs) by storm, a volvo was running 2 with a top score of 162dB, a saxo with the RE 18" HC's was doing a constant 158dB. I managed to get a nice 146dB with one 15" HC in my sister 206. As for blowing subs, the main cause for damaging them is having the gains turned too high, the general misconception is that the gain is a volume control.
