ok this may be a daft question but i'm gonna ask anywa :P

i've got a sony xrc-7500 head unit with a 6 disc changer plugged to it....the cd changer says it's MP3 compatible but the head unit isn't (bought a new cd changer cos it was smaller) now does that mean i'll be able to play mp3 cds in my motor cos it's the disc changer that is reading the disc after all and not the headunit??

or am i talking complete arse here???

thank you to any clever person who might be able to help :thumb:

im guessing so tid, i have the CDX-CA850 which supports cd-text so all the changer is doing is reading the mp3 as a ormal cd track and then gives you the track listing on the headunit it self as if its a normal cd, i tihnk anyway, cos i have been looking into this aswell, i love my headunit but wanted mp3 on it and thats the way i was gonna do it m8y
