Derwin Posted December 28, 2004 Share Posted December 28, 2004 Ive seen Video Footage of an Evo 7 WRC Hitting a tree head on at 120mph. The crash was so bad the engine was ripped out of the car......... but both drivers were ok besides a broken ankle and concussion........... I know a rally car will ALWAYS be stronger then a road car BUT, a tree is an immovable object, where as a transit van is movable.......... there will be some leeway in energy where as the tree would take all of it. Transits also bend where as tree's dont. I dont buy that picture for a second, its gotta be another one of those fake crash pics that are made to scare the shite out of people........
