Chrissyboy Posted February 16, 2002 Share Posted February 16, 2002 well mines a 1995 mk6 escort but his book said they didnt make a mk6 in 1995 so mine had to be a mk5. so I told him to look outside and look at it. he agreed it was a mk6 but must have a mk5 engine in it so I popped the bonnet so he could have a look but he didnt know what the difference was between the two engines (the filter was £20 more for a mk5) So I took it to the local Ford dealer and the mechanic said it was definatly a mk6 engine. but looking at the pic of your engine bay mine looks different to yours. so now i´m confused Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
