McRic
forget bout fines etc and start thinkin of others, if ya get a blow out n ya knew bout the slit I'd say thats pretty ignorant that you could wipe out some poor innocent person at the same time, harsh maybe but I feel true on the same token depends how depe it is, if its on the rim protector its maybe superfictial or however the feck you spell it Edited May 25, 2004 by McRic
Cyrix
its onthe serrated bit, well the textured part, its kind of like a flap if you get me, about 1mm or less in thickness. Also on the blowout side of it ive had two go on one side at about 50 which span me into a feild. Still dont now what caused it, must have been glass. And the RS2000 i bought off my best mate had the frotn tyre blow out at over 100...............hes lucky to be alive, if you saw the pics of the RS u wouldnt have thought he was. plumber60
Id rather pay out for another new tyre than having a blow out at 70mph down the motorway. me too, my mate payed the price for that when he totalled his work van on the M180 at 85mph lucky tw*t didnt even have a scratch and the fecker rolled twice
