Scotteh
hmm may need to either have the arches rolled then or do wot sime has done and put cossie arches on front and rear ones sorted. might have to rework the budget then
sortedford
just get 205 tyres, usually places will let you choose between the 2 for none, or a minimal charge
neil
Like the wheels need a photoshop to see them on the car
Rob84
sime only fitted cossie arches because his 18's are a cossie offset anyway and with the correct offset, 215's should fit, as Kev has proven
K3V HA
If ya only going for 17's mate, id get 205's anyway! Like rob said, ive got 215's on, and the ydont rub at all, but ive got a ET45 offset, which aint usual escort offset. Ive had 205/40/17 on before with 7.5inch wide wheels and they rubbed more than my 18's!!
Ex-Finesse
I beleive you are going for 18s mate? I'd say 215/35's will cause minimal problems. Roll the rears just to be safe imo
Scotteh
well just put a set of 215 tyres on the scort at my m8s (used his old 16inch cougar wheels) and their bound to be the wrong off set, but the only time it rubbed was wen i had it on full lock doing a u turn and even then it only rubbed once the weight was shifted onto that side...so wud be interesting to see an 18inch with the correct offset gonna go down to local ally place and ask em to whack 1 on to check....will have to smooth the rears down tho
