Colin
Been sitting here for a we while trying to get my head around the best thing to do with the car stylisticially again. I have been from an extremem to less is best approach, and I started thinking about taking this to an extreme.......... and how I see this style of Euro mixed with contemporary British modding scene. How about that folks? I'm wanting to change to RS diamond spoke rims in the near future anyways cause I like em more than mine and they shine better also. Obviously coilovers employed to lower it that much, but that could easily be purchased because the bodywork is 100% zero bodykit, using all the bits i already have, and just smoothing over the front chrome lip on the bumper and at the rear using a mk6 rear bumper to get rid of the chrome again. MK6 mirrors and the side repeaters (which would get moved to the mirrors using mk6 indicators inset into the mirror or possible Focus crystal repeaters )acompany a single wiper, smoothed bonnet with jets moved to wiper, smoothed door locks. Also, RS2k front lights changing my set-up, not sure if I would rewire em, and possible keep em like that and fit something similar to angel eyes for "sidelights" to pass an MOT in the main unit. Also front bumper has my Focus Fog's in it, and i'm also considering maybe putting the focus indicators in it, but I just don't think it would look as nice. At the rear would be just smoothing over the rear wiper and wiper jet, with the mazda style lexus lights, accompying my Powerflow I already have. Opinions people? Colin
Also, I would really like to focus on having a really nice interior, as with my RS1600i seats, and matching rear bench (when it arrives!), i'm thinking finding a way to fit an Esc Cos center console and have the arm rest retrimed to match. A 4 spoke RS steering wheel would fit in nicely also. Not really into ICE to be honest, my set-up I have does me nicely. I just keep thinking and looking at some of the car's in the Fast Ford / Preformance Ford and i really like the car's with zero bodykit and a few personal touches that only a proper fan of the marque would appreciate. I want to go for a understated look, no vents or any thing like that, not even a spoiler, and its also going to be a lot cheaper. Kinda like the "Project Bonus" from the car mag. Anyone get my idea? Mike C
on a personal note, I thing the softsopkes would look better on red than diamond cut, but yeh, am loving that

Colin, on my lights the dipped beam bulb lights up with the sidelights, but is dimmed so its about the same as a sidelight

Dunno if you'll fit reepeaters inside the mirrors, i have a spare set of mk6 mirrors here tho- would give us a chance to hook up. The stick on ones aren't too bad but best bet if you wanna keep standard style mirrors is to buy a bunch of orange led's and do a bit of cutting to make your own repeaters. ( i think kylescort hacked up an old set of repeaters and fitted em to his mk6 mirrors...Oh and i reckon seen as shes so low and all some escy skirts would make the sides lurvely- without being too aftermarket stylee. Colin
Ah but white wheels, I dunno it would turn it into a rally slag then!! I'm "considering" something deep dish and in a possible 16x8 sorta fitament, but then I really love the diamond cut rims so much.
