foxdie
yeah, think it was a lucky escape, coulda been alot worse, im deffinately looking at another car for when the weather is like this. Leave getting the backend out to empty car parks instead of high streets. Cant believe there was no one coming the other side of the road. how lucky am i!, also pretty lucky it didn't mount the card and end up through the guys shop window!!!! white_van_matt
Unlucky mate Could have been a lot worse though from the looks of it Does your 2 have traction control (I know thats for wheelspin, but cant remember the name of the other thing) or anything? Maybe it would be worth looking into a decent system, probably a lot cheaper than having 2 cars
foxdie
I dont think its got Traction control, or ABS (cos i have lock the wheels up already) but i mainly put down to inexperience and my inabililty to expect it, it wont happen again - well, not by accident anyway. I will need anopther motor, maybe a lil 1.6 lx scort or something mainly for the winter, cos if its that twitchy after a lil bit of rain, i'd hate to see in British winter snow

ANT
u can tell if u have ABS by when u start the engine u should have an ABS light, light up for about 10 seconds abit like the PAS one. i aint got it! that is very much what i nearly did after a few days of having mine, except where u ended up was a que of traffic! glad it wern't too bad tho! foxdie
it just all happened sooo quick, no sooner had felt the car was loose at the back it had already travelled to far round to save. I just tried to stop myself bouncing of anymore kerbs. If i hadn't damaged my rim it woulda been alot a fun!!!! lol
Harvez
Those lil jap motors have such a bad reputation for spinnin and bein horrible to drive in the rain , mate had one and he said he was to scared to drive it in the rain cause there so easy to spin out uncontrollably ! but i still want one
T9BY G
I had the same thing happen to me last winter shortly after I got mine. Count yourself lucky that you now know what can happen in the wet but you still have an undamaged car! It was impossible to get the power down today even on the straights - even had a Rover 45 thinking he was as fast as me cos my wheels were spinning so much
