They gave me one with a panel filter or something Sounds like you have bought the wrong one. Its not the cone one that you see everyone with. Its a K&N version of the standard one. The induction kit costs around £80 where as the panel filter is about £20-£
Jackster
Its an induction kit as i paid £77 for it as i got a 10% discount off the original price. Im sure he said there was 2 kinds so if its wrong i could take it back.

Jackster
Went and picked up the induction kit yesterday from Halfords and guess what there was no cone just a panel filter But after searching there warehouse they came across a cone type for my car. Who said its a piece of P the instructions look really complicated, also bought a little breather type thing apparently i will need one.

Rob84
also bought a little breather type thing apparently i will need one. if u've bought the correct K&N for ur car jackie, then theres no need for a breather, as the standard pipe fits into a pre-cut hole on the back side of the cone
Jackster
Hmmm im confused now, they said they given me an induction kit for my car and said there will be a random pipe so i will need a breather. *scratches head* maybe i should ask the bloke in Halfords to fit it for me.
