djxl_da_beast Posted August 20, 2004 Share Posted August 20, 2004 Im gonna be selling this RS2000 i bought after its had a good clean and an mot I dont know how much to put it up for - Demon S is very intrested i know but im gonna see if anyone else is as well. The spec is; -RS2000 mk5-Genuine 74k (got all old mots etc) - The engine has had a new timing chain (£500 worth of work!) and has been fully rebuilt with new valve stem oil seals etc etc. Cost well over a grand for that and i have all the receipts for the work, which was done only 150 miles ago!!!-Genuine Ford Mk6 RS side skirts-Genuine Ford Mk6 rs rear bumper with spats-Genuine Ford Mk6 bump strips (1 if off in the pic obviously ill fix it back on)-Genuine Ford Escort Cosworth bonnet-Genuine Ford escort cosworth grille-16" version of the GTi rims (set of 5)-Delocked doors and tailgate-Genuine Ford Escort Cosworth lower spoiler-Lowered onto spax shocks and springs-It will have a full 12 month mot-All the recaros etc in very good condition The Bad points are one rear arch, the bottom lip of the tailgate and the edge of the drivers door have started to rust. I could sort these so the car is mint but tbh id rather sell it as it is but i can see the cost being more than a couple of hundred quid to make it mint again. I am selling the quads shown in the picture separately but these can stay with the cars if needs be. Heres a couple of pics. Its got no plates on it cuz it had a private plate but obviously ill get new ones made up. Also ill put the bump strip back on!!! How much do u lot think its worth? Anyone intrested??
