My Mate was trying to tell the police guy it was my new spoiler..................anyway he saw the funny side o it and as we were less than a minit from home left us too it. I once went for one for my mate (we both had a MK3 fez at the time) and got the tailgate in the boot of my car. that was WITHOUT the aid of 5-doors to guide it in properly... Looks like its a common fault on them as well cos ive seen loads like it, Think its when the rubber underneath goes............Soloution is to buy one minus the spoiler like i did so it doesnt have the problem and drill the holes and re attach your old spoiler.
