righ then here are a few pics from when i got the car in may to now

 

i got the car of ebay blown engine and gear box for not dash and some interior missing the red key ( big mistake ) lol

 

 

so the misson began took the engine gear box and interior out of my written off car the red si i had ( all proberbly seen the post i but up anout it in march ) which is at another garage we own

 

 

i went to put the engine out of my p reg car into the the n reg car and disaster the n reg had a 94- 95 wiring loom loom all the plugs where different every thing was differnt

 

so th engine went in the garage stripped and rebiult and turned the zetec e into zetec by putting the efi maifold on it and luckily the enigne i took it off down the scrappy was a rs 1800 fiesta engine so also i had the cams throttle body and rest of inlet system for a bargin 50 quid after a long period in the garage sparying various parts waint for smaco hoses of ebay and other stuff i finally got the engine in as i was fitting this i noticed a few lose bits of wire on the drivers side under the bonnet ( where the abs pump is on some models ) oh no the fcuking idiot i bout the car of had some how managed to chop every wire that came from the fues box so 3 weeks a photo coppier 3 packs of high lighters a haynes manual and a lot of patients i traced every wire of the car and manage to solder them all to gether

 

now it was the last bit fitting the dash and sorting the wiring loom in the car

so i dragged the dash out of my smashed up car

and found that dashes in ford escort with air con are differnt to ones with out the area where the 3 dials are mount differently so with a blow torch to heat a knife and a little modification it soon fitted in

 

wired up all the bollukcs and now it was the moment of truth to see if the bitch started

 

well as u can guess she did not ( fuckin boluks ) my heart sank i played for 2 weeks and found that the imoniliser was kicked in and there was a prolem with the fused box by now i had had enough so i sent it to ford

 

they asked have u the RED KEY oops so a new set had to be cut and a new fuse box

she ran so i picked her up and took her home then i c=agve her a complete over hall found that the usual wishbone where fucked so i replaced them worked a staurday and treated my self to a 60 mm drop with springs and shocks

 

new calipers as the others where shagged lukily the abs ones of my old car fitted the new one

 

and she passed first time with out fail emissions everything

 

 

then that day i got here home from the mot me and 3 mates fitted the old stainless steel powerflow i had on my old car and stereo chuked in and took her for a drive

 

i was so proud of my self not being big headed as those last 3 and a half months had been fcuking hell but jesus she shited and it was so worth it
