Ex-Finesse
Buy a boot with the wiring still in it. Otherwise you've got hours of fun trying to feed wires or string through it Car's looking good. Like the red indicators

sorted_scort
what you wna do is get a 3 tonne dent puller off ebay for like £10 i used plunger on ma fez lol n that got most of it out so im sure a proper dent plunger/puller will get it out no probs, and that wont ruin the paint

Ex-Finesse
A 'repaired' dent will never be factory smooth unless you filler over the area though..... Then repaint is required..... It'll cost more trade than it would to get a boot from a scrappy!

Ex-Finesse
Looking at your dent a bit closer......... it's right on the top of the boot! Is the top flat section rippled at all? That'll take a genius to get factory again, what with the 3D curvature of the mk5b / 6 tailgate. Personally, I'd get one from a scrappy. £20 max! Look for people breaking escorts and they are virtually giving them away.

Ex-Finesse
I've collected 2 boots in a year, one mk6 with spoiler (in my sig) and a mk5 one a few weeks ago. Both by pickup truck so that ain't helping! Sorry Think Cyrix managed it! Got stopped doing it too I believe, crazy fool! Boot was almost fully open! A pic was floating around approx. 5 weeks ago
