Hio my speedo keeps wobbling around the 30mph mark

 

Anyone have clue what caused this and how to fix it

Mine does this when its low on petrol. Dunno why tho coz its not a digital one. I jus let it get on with what its doing. But they do wobble, my dads one does it aswell in his P-reg Mk6. But try taking out the speedo drive from the gearbox and givin it a clean and inspect it. the drive could need replacing?

drive at 40+ and it wont wobble at 30

 

probly just a loose/dirt connection

could just be worn where it meets the dial face, wouldnt really worry bout it - if in dout try some new dials of ebay or something

is your cable a 2 part one some have a split connection in them right at the top of the bulk head if so disconnect this and give it a bloody good clean that solved it for me---++

mine does it (p-reg), and my dads p-reg did it,

the mechanic where i take mine says it probably a twisted cable?

so could be not to sure,

doesnt really bother me, doesnt do it all the time and when it does its not bad, seems to start around the 50,000 mark
