Hello mate.

Just thinking about the throttle bodies. wondering if they would go straight on my 1.8 xr3i? Also wot management do i need to run them? I already have a dastek unichip fitted so would it just be a case of getting it re-mapped?

cheers

hello mate, yes they will go straight on mate.

you *may* be able to get the unichip mapped to work with it but as you will be removing the MAF it still may not work right.

there are loads of suitable management options out there dta/omex etc.

I'm interested in the above three. Couple of ques.

What mods did you have to do to get the cossie brakes on?

If i fit the rear discs ill lose my abs? So i've heard. Will I need a whole new axle? Any ideas?

The car is a mk6 gti.

Cheers, Tom

I sent Dan a cheque for the Esc Cos front setup a week ago

Your GTi will have ABS, so you will not be able to use the RS2000 beam without major mods. I don't know of anyone who has managed it yet. The alternative is to spend £500 at Pumaspeed and they sort you out rear discs :thumb:

There's a guide on the main site how to fit Esc Cos brakes.
