Timmy C
I nopticed a new flat spot and a lack in performance a couple of days ago and ive only just got round to checking it out. Turns out there was a split in my ram pipe after my air filter which would have allowed un-filtered air into my engine. The split was in the rippely tube in the pic below: Ive fixed it now so that it cant ever happen again and it seems to run just fine. I want to know though how much damage could this cause to my engine, worst case scenario, it could have been like that for a week!!! And what measures can i take to stop any problems resulting from this.
Rob84
unless u've driving in a really dusty environment, it should be ok Edited June 4, 2005 by Rob84
F1ACK
I wouldn't worry if its ok now, obviously its not ideal, but as said in normal situations the area the pipe is in does not get much dirt in so it should be fine
