sorted_mk6 Posted June 5, 2005 Share Posted June 5, 2005 right, tried startin my car after the engine conversion i did, it turns over but it just wont fire up, ive checked it and there aint any sparks from the plugs. i cant figure out why, there is power goin to the coil, and ive checked the resistance and all seems fine.im just stuck so anyone got any ideas wat i can try? or wat cud be the prob?any ideas wud be greatcheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sorted_mk6 Posted June 6, 2005 Author Share Posted June 6, 2005 ive changed everythin, conversion is 1.3 endura e to 1.8 zetec xr3ii dont really understand all this PATS stuff, wat do u actually have to change?wudnt PATS stop everythin from workin tho, cos everythin seems to work apart from no sparks? its had pretty much everythin changed, got the 1.8 xr ecu on, but i havent changed the ignition barrel, wud this cause it, i have got a non-PATS ignition barrel but i cant see any differencecheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
