RobMk6 Posted June 6, 2005 Share Posted June 6, 2005 is there such a thing as a front gearbox mount ever been made to allow you to use an S2 RST gearbox in a mk5 or higher car? as i now have an RST Engined Mk5 off Ian, and it also has an S2 G'box which had part of an S2 and mk5> g'box mounts welded (bodged at that) together which in turn turned a 3hr trip bk from coventry into a 6+ hr trip as it snapped on the motorway edited by mods Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lee R Posted June 6, 2005 Share Posted June 6, 2005 as the engine was never supposed to be there, i'd have thought a fair bit of custom stuff would need to be made... get a new mount custom made i'd say, cant think of any other choice what gearbox's did 1.4 CVH mk5 use?
