Devboy
Ok, so i got my drapper cam locking tool today for my car, went to put it on and the cams are sitting to low! the bar flat on the cyclinder head will not slide into the lines on the cams for the locking tool!! why? is this a problem with my engine or the tool? I have turned the cams 180' but then they sit even lower!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

simonh1
You really don't need it if you are very careful, and move the cams to the correct position against the force of the valve springs as you put your new belt on so as to make sure the teeth are aligned correctly. ANDYC
if they are sitting to low you have the engine 180degrees out turn the crank another turn and itll be ok
