bluliz
i got the top casing off and undid the screw. started to lift the wiper stalks and the horn went off. guess i have to disconnect the battery, but some one said to me i would have to take the steeringwheel off as theres 2 litle spring connectors for the horn wiring. true false? Escort Singh
If the horn starts blowing, it's probably due to the two brass pins on the stalk touching the airbag when you're trying to push the stalk out, not to panic This will happen if you don't disconnect the battery and ehn you change it straight away. If you replace the unit after connecting relays and plugs etc, put the stalk into postion (HORN BLOWS) and press the horn from the steering wheel and it stops.
