is the sony cdx 7700 any good and whats the difference between the cdx 7700 and cdx 7750 ive seen it for about £150 dose anybody know if you can get it cheaper, and also which is better the sony cdx 7700/7750 or the kenwood KDC W7027.

Both basically the same, but as the model numbers suggest you get more tarty bits with the 7750

Sony are crap ! sorry but i have strong issues with barry boys chavs running SPLX crap and thinking it's good. sony make great HOME sounds but shouldn't bother making car stuff.

 

I've got a kenwood head unit and 10 disc changer and it's been great!!!!

I agree, they do, but 15 odd years ago before they started concentrating on the home market they made some excellent stuff, they also did competition headunits, of which I have one, not cheap at the time but very good.......

iv had kenwood alpine sony n al sort and the only 1 that stands out is the sony i would have a kenwod if i saw 1 that was better but apart from that nahh

I've had a top of the range Kenwood that sounded good, but my mid range Alpine sounds so much better, getting the right speakers an amps is more important tho.

 

Any car audio shop will tell you the best brand for sound quality is Alpine!

my sony headunit i has was wicked.. looked wicked with a huge display with a flip over screen, buttons on the back...

 

back to the std ford 6000 hu now and sony 3way speakers in the doors, front and rear
