CONDITION OF ITEMS

Evotech front with Angel Eyes - £100

Two chips, slight crazing in paint from trapped solvents and the heat of summer. Needs a bit of 800 gritting and new coating.

MK6 rear with GTi spats - £50

A bit light in colour. Rear valance holes meshed out and bottom cut for duplex. Otherwise, 100%

Side skirts - £25

Have Infinity vinyls on. Top nick.

MOMO Tuner wheel w/boss - £80 (almost new! £145 of gear)

Perfect condition.

Kenwood 6x9s - £30

Bit dusty - otherwise in top nick. Can't remember the model numbers - the blue and white ones. Like that makes them different.

Infinity door 13.5s w/adaptors - £30

Standard door size speakers - nice kit. Supplied with plastic door adaptor rings.

2x 12" blue neon plasma tubes - £15

12v jobs which I used either side of the roof for courtesy lighting.

4x 17" LG107 Black Widows with tyres (a bit scuffed) - £300

Bargain for £300. New tyres on front, bags of tread left on rear. Scuffs easy to sand out and refinish in Vauxhall Steel Grey. Balancing checked less than two weeks ago.

35mm suspension with short throw dampers (less than 4k wear) - £150

Self-explanatory.

Turbo boost gauge with tubing and T-piece - £20

With pillar mounting. Chappers?

if the car has a airbag id say the boss will fit as mine is also a puma one neil.

how come your breaking it? it looked great the other day :O

Thanks Ian - the thing is, it's too expensive and time-consuming for me to run two cars really. I was considering using it as a works car but i'd still be maintaining it, just with a heavier mileage. I'd rather concentrate on what matters most - the Cougar!! That and getting around to finishing our home studio and building work....after that, who knows? I learnt a lot from the TD about what to do and what NOT to do. Learned to trust and value bodyshops for one ;-)

The most fun project car would be a two-seater mid-engine RWD YB powered Cougar....!! Cheap to pick up the shell but hell-loads to work on....

I was thinking of a mental track day car. RWD and mid-engine conversion needs a lot of space and dedication or a lot of money and an adventurous garage :-) In other news, Shagmonkey on UKCougars has managed to squeeze 341bhp out of his V6 and can just outpace a Jag XK8. Natural progression would be to go RWD, no?
