Prostheta
I've had plenty of offers for various bits, but i'd rather sell the whole shebang. That way i'm not left with a non-road legal half-built car in the front garden....!!
neil
I assume the steering wheel boss would be the same for a mk6, anyone know
Prostheta
Not 100% sure - i'd rather sell them as a pair really....The boss is a Puma boss with a modified canceller ring to fit. The horn works, but I would urge the buyer to replace the horn button with a non-Ripspeed one - I was too lazy to...
sortedford
if the car has a airbag id say the boss will fit as mine is also a puma one neil. how come your breaking it? it looked great the other day

Prostheta
if the car has a airbag id say the boss will fit as mine is also a puma one neil. how come your breaking it? it looked great the other day <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Thanks Ian - the thing is, it's too expensive and time-consuming for me to run two cars really. I was considering using it as a works car but i'd still be maintaining it, just with a heavier mileage. I'd rather concentrate on what matters most - the Cougar!! That and getting around to finishing our home studio and building work....after that, who knows? I learnt a lot from the TD about what to do and what NOT to do. Learned to trust and value bodyshops for one ;-) The most fun project car would be a two-seater mid-engine RWD YB powered Cougar....!! Cheap to pick up the shell but hell-loads to work on.... Prostheta
I was thinking of a mental track day car. RWD and mid-engine conversion needs a lot of space and dedication or a lot of money and an adventurous garage :-) In other news, Shagmonkey on UKCougars has managed to squeeze 341bhp out of his V6 and can just outpace a Jag XK8. Natural progression would be to go RWD, no?
