photo cropping/resizing type program wanted....

right, when I got my new Dell, it came with Coral Photosuite thing. Now the free trial has run out and the features are limited, and now I can't resize

 

so, what free one is best to have?

 

only want a basic one for re-sizing etc

ACDSee 7 is a very very good all round package for BATCH renaming and BATCH resizing, set it to do 1000's of pics all in one go

 

i'll zip a full version with serial it a min, and post it on here

gimp is very good and totally free..

you need this first.. download and install GTK+ 2 Runtime Environment (version 2.8.18, for Windows 2000 and newer)

 

and then gimp itself... Gimp

 

also available for unix and mac os x

you can also use photoshop cs/cs2 to resize and then export the image if you set up an automated action.
