Dunk
ok I have read a couple of things about the mark 5 being a bit dodgy. Un-reliable and a bad drive, any of this true? Anyone got a Mk5, any problems with it??? Please let me know, I don't want to buy a pos.
escort_16v
I've had a mk5b for 2 and half years and apart from a few small easy and cheap to fix things it has been perfect, not a very refined drive but you can have fun with it and they there are plenty of bits available to mod it. Al
ok final quote the winner is.... CIS tpf&t £1600 without passplus, with £1400, what ya reckon, i think its pretty damn good personally. .................£1900 £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££!!!!!!!! Pretty damn good? I'd freak out if my insurance was the 'odd' £900, let alone another £1000 on top. as for a £4k quote? I'd rather go on me pushbike than pay that!! Jesus, i'm in shock. *shaking* Al. Dunk
shania is hot man. lol. as for the insurance costing 3 times the car value... well if i bought a 1.0 festa, it would still cost me between £700 and £900 to insure a k reg, so fcuk it, push the boat out a little and have something worth the money.
