Colin
Spax can do a custom serive with regards springs and dampers for hardly anything extra, i'm proabley sure that they actually do a set for the GTi Estate, surely ain't they the same as the Orion? But try Spax if no one can sort you out, or maybe X-factor motorsport, you can get coilovers from them for the mk5's and 6's.............

stuart
lf you do chop your coils make sure you only take one coil/ring on each spring out at a time then let it settle for a few miles , then if you want it lower still then take another ring out . this may be time consuming but if you take out to may your f**ked and your on the bumpstops . Plus a mate of mine bought some lowered springs for a car with very very worn springs , when he put his brand new lowered springs on they rised the car instead so he cut one coil out of the new spring >> :sonic: Stu.ART
