Most good subs will have the spec listed on the body/magnet somewhere. giving you the volume of air needed to be moved in cubic feet to get the best sound. Auto acoustics have a web site where by you can enter the sub type and they will give you the volume needed and draw up blueprints for a subbox(es) for you for a small fee.
