1.8Si Posted September 28, 2007 Share Posted September 28, 2007 I rarely use my GTi kitted 3 door 1.8 Si, only at weekends, after a month of dodgy handling, i cured the problem with a new lower arm, to go out about later that night, and bang, a funny smell, and ive only got 3rd gear... Believe it or not, it DID get me home some 100 odd miles !! and its still going now !! 1.8Si Posted September 28, 2007 Author Share Posted September 28, 2007 Ive been rear ended on a moped, side swiped off a motorbike, stacked a brand new car into the back of a lorry, and rolled my last one 6 times down a ditch into a farmers field - doesnt hurt anymore...
