started off with one of these after i past my test back in 1988 aged 18, was a 950 finesse

kept seeing one of these, mk2 1600 sport parked on a street i used to use everyday and decided i wanted it so left a note on the windscreen with my phone number asking if he'd sell it, got a phone call within a couple of days...........

didnt last long though, some dozy tw4t pulled out of a junction infront of me and wrote it off

next up was one of these

then i bought 2 5 turbos

1st one was white

was 25 at the time and had just got married and it was when insurance prices went through the roof, went up from about £350 fully comp to over a grand ........

so had to get rid and bought on of these a rt 1.4

next up was a fiesta si

then i past my bike test at the grand old age of 28 and sold the escort to buy one of these

then progressed onto the k1gsxr

chopped that in for the k4, which i still have

commuted solely on the bikes for 8 years until i got fed up of riding in the snow and ice so bought a winter hack to commute in

wasnt a good winter car the heaters didnt work lol, that was written off by a numpty in a 4x4 who couldnt stop in the snow and crashed into the rear of it

 

so bought this with the insurance money

failed its mot last month so sold it on ebay, got £350 for it ............

 

and have just bought one of these again, the one i had before cost me £10500 at 6 months old, this ones 10 years old and cost me £600

paid £600 for the 205, some idiot knocked my bike over on a petrol forecourt and the damage amounted to £1200 so sort of makes sense cost wise to get something for winter........i sprayed all the black plastic, bought leather seats and looked after it hence it looks better in the photo than when i bought it

 

loved the mk2 just wish i'd had more time with it
