meekstaaa
Buy a new battery if yours is old. Just incase or wait to see if it can't handle it. If you can go for a yellow top battery depends on how many amps you run etc.... find out the rms power to the sub or speakers or what ever you want to run and then find an amp with the same or more rms power. Ignore the peaks. Thats it really
Yana
I highly recommend the Vibe Blackbox range. I use the smallest of the bunch (Blackbox I) to power my 12" JBL sub and I can't fault it one bit, controls are excellent, output is excellent and design/build is very good. You can get amps that are a tad cheaper but 'you get what you pay for'
marshy
dave would a yellow top battery be fine enough to run 2 amps and the car??? i know they can be expensive tho...yana..how mch am i looking at for blackbox amps?
Yana
Blackbox I Blackbox II All depends on how much power you want. I use my Blackbox I bridged @ 4ohm and it's perfect, more than enough power for me. Oh.. forget to mention. The Blackbox I info on caraudiosecurity is wrong... RMS in Bridged mode is 1 x 200w and peak output is 400w.
meekstaaa
a yellow top would be more than fine to run that and more. I'm not too up on them to be honest though
