Moos3h
Okay, so I've had it with the Escort. Here's the deal. You buy: 4 x 17" Alloys (Fox RS3 - see my other thread) with excellent tyres on. You get: 1 x Free Escort. It is: P Reg, 95k on the clock, MOT till November, 1.8 Si 16v in Radiant Red.Lowered 60mm, Induction Kit (Pipercross), Ashley Single Sports Exhaust.New parts - Temp Sender, ECU Temp Sensor, Throttle Position Sensor, Air Filter. The car, up until yesterday ran well but with an idle problem. Today it got worse and the car kangarood everywhere, until I unplugged the EGR Solenoid. However, it has trouble idling when cold AND has a fairly serious amount of oil underneath. Doesn't lose water (Coolant is new as I changed it). Conditions: The car is sold as is, spares or repair and with no warranty, you're getting it free with the wheels. I shall leave the tax disc on for another £20 which takes you a month or two. I don't have pics so please don't ask - no panel damage, car is fitted with GTi kit and looks great although some paintwork needs the T-Cut. You are welcome to view. Only one key and drivers side lock was damaged by attempted theft (still works). I have the V5/2 and the MOT and that's it - only recently got the car and they obviously saw me coming. Best bit? £350 takes it away. I will NOT hold this for people, it needs to go and go fast. Located in Stevenage and I will NOT deliver the car. PLUS, no 'i'll collect next week'. Nope, I need it gone same/next day at the very latest. That's why it is priced so well. Cheers,James
Moos3h
More info. 3 door. Sunroof (gets stuck). No CD player. Shelf has been cut for 6x9s but not included. Seats are in good nick overall. Inside is tidy enough. Goes very well, even now when warm but with the oil leak I don't want to drive it any further and it needs time to warm up before the crazy revving stops. Had air con fitted but this seems to be missing and not connected. Arches are pretty solid and the car looks fantastic when cleaned and polished. Any other questions? Moos3h
Whoops, forgot about the 'must have pics rule'. This is an old photo of when I was buying it. Nothing has changed apart from I cleaned it a bit! http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e256/Moos3h/100120081542.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e256/Moos3h/100120081545.jpg

Moos3h
any think else wrong with it ??? It's not perfect, but I was using it on a daily drive up until this afternoon when I limped home from St. Albans what mods ???What you see is what you get, exhaust, filter, wheels, lowering etc. got any ebgine bay pics ???Nope sorry how much you after for the alloys ???All in, £350, that's with the car, I will NOT seperate them have you got the log book ???As mentioned above, only the buyers part (which I don't think I've filled in yet) as I only bought it very recently and haven't received it yet. A full receipt will be given, and the V5/2 passed onto you. wheres the oil leak from ??Mate, if I knew that, then I'd be spending time on the car, and I simply can't...it's coming from the bottom of the engine, but the car is quite low so not really possible to see. Looks worst over the suspension to the drivers side wheel, so it's engine oil and not transmission fluid I guess Cheers,James

Moos3h
Finish at 4.00pm, pick the wife up in the afternoon and back usually for about 6.00pm? The skirts and spats? No idea, not sure how i'd tell tbh mate. In some places you can see a small amount of paint flaking and underneath is white - don't know if that's primer or what.
