Clifton Posted February 11, 2008 Share Posted February 11, 2008 hi i'm looking after how a laguna vented splitter fits into the escort mk6 bumper. Is there the need to screw it to the bumper or else just clip it on without doing holes in to the bumper? And does it match exactly from edges?? and if not from where do I need to cut? bluliz Posted February 11, 2008 Share Posted February 11, 2008 Welcome to EVO. Start by getting the bumper off the car. it is far easier with it removed. Find the centre points of the bumper and the spliter and mark them with masking tape. The best way to attached the splitter is to use self tapping screw. 10-12 screws evenly spaced along the splitter will give a good fit. The splitter can then be trimmed at the ends. there will be a few inches to take off each end. I dont have any pictures but i hope that helps a bit.
