well, we got there ok, bloody sat nav took us down the lanes though so the car was brown by the time we got there.

It'll probably have some new rear chassis rails, just to be on the safe side as one of them did go rotten, which was patched but im not sure wether it would be goodenough for the power.

Its most likley going to be completly seam welded too...

They'll get cracking on it in about 2/3 weeks and then 2-3 weeks later it will have the running gear fitted!

whats wrong with WRC? i like it and it doesnt cost me as much as gettin a bumper elsewhere lol

Si, nah had more than that in it, it had seats and a dash and roof lining etc

Sat Nav took you down what lanes? ?(

wasnt down this way thats for sure, and you should know you're own area :D :P

WRC suits the car. Best to go with tried and tested then ruin it with 'origionality' sometimes :thumb:

But LOADS of people have done WRC, and it never suits, there's only one case I can think of where it actually does and that's DaveW's car!!!

For the life of me I can't see where the 11 months of body shop went, and it just seems weird to go into all that effort to have those rear arches custom made just to stick a "cheap & easy" bumper on the front ?(

Oh well, your choice. What exactly are you trying to do with this car though? Best mk5 ever? World's most expensive Scooby rep?

X(

FAMOUS last words there :O
