As this was lost i thought id redo & update progress.

Came to me like this, rather smashed up & nearly snapped.

Done some major fibreglass repairing to get it like this

Gave it a trial fit.

Got a power sander & looks like this after today so far.

Still more prep work to do before primer but nearly ready for a first few coats.

thought you said it was repairable??

It was, but it was never the best fitting bumper before so couldnt be @rsed tbh, plus i needed room, dont forget that at the time half my old car was stored in my three sheds. :rolleyes:

 

Great job so far mate :thumb: . Seems a shame to put all that work in to get it fixed and then not use it on your motor

Looking good, you be quite handy with the fiber glass - I like it with the mk5b bonnet - you keeping it like that or doing the full cossy front?

Will be keeping the 5b bonnet but will have cossie style morettes, (update on those this week sometime)

 

good job mate, u gonna fit washer jets in those bits,if not i'd cut them out and smoove it

I think that would look a bit sh1te tbh cut off & smoothed, my wrc one never had washer jets but you never know?
