the back end of Mk5 RWD beast falls out with a tree

Had the car out for my home event the sligo stages and we lost it after a flat in 3rd jump and the back end fell out with a few trees and teh trees won, not the end of teh world but it will cost a bit to fix

 

follow the links below and scroll trough and to the middle and you will see the sequence of events and go to the end to see the after math. needs pulling back chassis legs in about 20-30mm, alloy petrol tank needs replacing and the dry sump tank might have got away with quaters. pics dont realy do it justice though

Gutted for you mate.

 

if you carry on to the very end keep going next you will see us getting her out of trees, back end in a good 150-200mm, lucky i hit it in the middle.

 

such is the joys of irish tar roads, it is a lot better looking than some of the other yokes that didn't finish. hopefully i will have it out again at the end of the month finances permitting.

Cant help noticing you need some EscortEVO stickers on there :D

they where on the back bumber lol. send over a few and i will happily advertise it on car. might be best to put them on the underneath of the floor pan might get the best coverage there lol
