ShaneW
Im trying to find some genuine mk5 cossi wings to fit on my Mk6, im just about to start my project i've been planning for a while, but i want steel wings, not fiber glass. i can get the fronts for £120 each but the rear Qtr's are nearly a grand for the pair. RS2300 4x4
I'm not 100% on this, but I seem to remember that you can not even fit the steel wings to a Mk5 because the Escort Cos used a modified Sierra floorpan and had a different wheelbase. Which means if you do manage to fit them, your wheels will not be in the centre of the arch and it would look like a bad cut and shut job. Ask around and see if anyone else has heard of this before taking my word as gospel. Mark
ShaneW
size isnt a problem, the chap who's doing the body work is a steel fabricator, bits can be added and removed where needed.

Mark i was just gonna say wot you just put down ! i think the wheels will sit slightly closer to the front bumper making it look strange when you look at from the side. 98gt
There was a yellow Mk5 cabrio in Fast Ford a few years ago that used genuine cossie wings but he had totally refabricated the suspension so that the wheels lined up with the arches.
