cheers mate.

always coated in mud/Shite.

So if you know that, you should take it easy right? :P

yeah.. youre right, but i was trying to catch a vectra 2.5 v6 that flew past me on a blind bend :vangry:

Chasing after other twats on the road isn't a good idea, next time he does that he'll probably end up in the field. Remember that!

But i'm glad to hear you're ok, you're one lucky fella!

This thing with airbags..... I have a feeling they only go off on massive frontal impacts (on escorts). Cant see why you need an airbag to come out of the steering wheel while your doing rollie polies. Just a thought like. :innocent:

good point, but there was a fairly big impact on the front (as you can see on the photos, and the hole i left in the field). at least the seatbelts worked!

chasing a 2.5 vectra in ur escort which im assuming is a 1.4 or 1.6 is pretty silly dont you think, cause u wont catch up, hey u learn from your mistakes and ur lucky to be here

air bags, how do we know if they were working, were they faulty, some people remove the bulb on the dash, they are supposed to work alongside the seat belt tensioners, you give that a great big tug and they set off

definately, but im a cocky driver. i can go faster than anyone. as i've proved lol.

OMG!! lucky boy! youve made an escort look like a fiesta!! glad you got out ok tho

so judging by the posts there is some kind of issue with the airbags then.

lol, thanks.

yeah - if you have a head on collision in an escort, dont expect to be alive afterwards :thumb:

I'm a new driver also ;) 2 months of driving!

After some of the stupid stuff my mates have done and still do, I ain't going to end up like them. One of them rolled a 206 doing a J turn with 4 people on board.

congrats on passing :) you do right, no ones impressed by arsehole drivers. and that is ridiculous! although i thought mine was gona roll once when i did a little handbrake turn. never again!

Good job no innocent driver was hurt when you went racing after another car.

So the road is always coated in mud and shite (your words), why drive like an idiot after another idiot in them conditions?

sorry missed this.

probably cos im a young naive driver, or just plain stupid.. a lesson learnt though.
