neil73
right full story. went to bed at about 1130, then was woken up at 1155 by a BIG bang and my car alarm going off, looked outside to see a car reverse and drive off, heard a lot of shouting and saw neighbours running down the street. went down stairs to find my car parked on the grass verge at the side of my van. drivers side front and rear smashed to bits, roof dented and both door gaps are overlapping, my car had bounced of my work van smasing the front passenger side bumper, light and damaged the bulk head. so the woman who drove off came over today about 1 o'clock shitting herself, admitted she had done it but was scared to own up last night. she's a lad over the roads girlfreind, they were arguing and she jumped into her car and booted it. so tomorrow i have a fiat ducato maxi work van and a focus coming gutted about the van and car but feel a bit happier that im claming on her insurace and not mine. Barry-334
In that kind of situation, that's probably the best outcome you could have hoped for. Hire car & van, courtesy of her insurance I presume..?
