Possibly breaking 2.0 MK6

Now, this isn't set into stone at the moment, but, I have had some interest in certain parts of the car, and, if I can get rid of the rest, I may well take this option, as it gets rid of it, and I can move onto something else, which I'd rather like. If I'm not going to sell everything, then I won't bother, because I don't want to be left with loads of stuff sitting about, but, I'll put a list below, and see how it goes over the next couple of days, and if there is sufficient interest, I may well go ahead with it. If not, I'll keep it and probably just run it into the ground to be honest.

So, here we are, the list....

2.0 Mondeo Zetec engine, done 5000 miles since having all gaskets replaced and having all bores and things checked. Seems a very strong engine, car goes well for a standard 2.0 - £150 (prov reserved if I break)

Protec 4-2-1 Exhaust manifold, not ever so old, good condition, with downpipe, will also include cat and decat section so it will mate up to any S/S MK6 exhaust £80 (also prov reserved)

2.0 Mondeo DESK ECU - £20 (also prov reserved)

S/S exhaust system for MK6 saloon, unknown make, 3" tailpipe - not mint, tailpipe is slightly out of shape, but you can't really tell unless you look closely - £40

17" Team Dynamics Monzas in silver, 2 Good Year Eagle F1s, 2 Nankangs, all legal, not amazing, but a bit of life left in em. I have all four centre caps for the wheels, but one is missing a sticker and a couple of screws are missing. Would look decent with a refurb and car drives ok on them, so no bent ones - £130

300mm brake set up, Mondeo MK3 calipers, ST170 disks, done around 5k, can supply with brake hoses - £100

MK6 RS2000 Recaro seats, rear bench and SI doorcards. Basically everything to have an RS2000 style interior in a 4/5 door MK6, or late MK5b. Bolsters on Recaro's in very good condition, just a couple of the plastic sections are cracked, but it is still a very nice interior, no rips or fag burns or anything like that - £250 (may have some interest in this too)

Chrome interior handles from Ghia x4 - £10

Bumpstrips, in Panther Black for 4/5dr, drivers one has some marks and needs paint, rest seem ok - £10

RS2000 steering wheel, the 3 spoke leather one, smaller than the GTI one, not mint, but again, it's ok, and nicer to use than the others in my opinion - £15

RS2000 white dials, fit all petrol models I think - £10

Foglight front bumper, with both fogs and towing eye cover. In Panther Black again, but has scuff on passenger side corner - £30

Satin black Ghia Grill - £10

MK6 Fiesta/MK2 Focus gearknob, for IB5 - £10

Ford Optional/Eibach lowering springs, for front only, lower approx 30mm, can include the RS2000 rears if needed - £30

MK6 Electric mirrors, in Panther Black, good condition - £30

Genuine Ford strut brace for MK6 - £50

Ghia boot panel for Escort Saloon/MK3 Orion, has chrome plate surround - £10

MK6 bonnet in Panther Black, not in bad nick - £15

Rear bumper for MK6 Escort saloon, couple of cracks and needs paint - £10

Think that's the lot really, apart from random bits of trim and stuff. I will consider offers on things, and as I say, this is provisional only, if I get little interest, I'm not going to bother, because it's a lot of effort to just end up with loads of bits that I just flatly don't have space for. Postage may be available at extra cost on smaller items.

Couple of pics to show some bits, and also the drop from the springs...

Do you have a saloon then? Cos neither will fit a hatch if you don't...

Whats the difference??? lol

It has a longer boot, so the back box is definately different, and the bootlids are totally different.

Don't break it ;(

Sorry John, if I get the interest I will, there's other cars I'd prefer to have to be honest! But we'll see how it goes over the next couple of days.

People have also put dibs on strut brace and brakes, but least I know there's plenty of interest.

If wheels, interior and front bumper get buyers, that will pretty much seal it's fate...
