andrewsalter
I have a pair of escort cosworth front seats I want to fit in my mk6 van.I have a set of fiesta mk3.5 subframes but the 2 dont go together properly.Has anybody on here actually done it them selfs and did you have to modify the subframes to get them to fit? andrewsalter
i think the mk5 subframes fitThey have mk5 subframes on them as they are from a mk5 and the mk5 subframes dont fit a mk6.The fiesta mk3.5 subframes fit the mk6 floor but cant get them to work properly with the cossie seats.I know they use them to put mk5 recaros in a mk6. andrewsalter
I could use mk6 subframes but they dont unbolt so I would need to cut them off and weld to the cossie seats, not something I want to do.The fiesta 3.5 subframes fit the floor pan and bolt on which is what I need. The only way I can see it working is to put spacers between the subframe and the seat so that the seat adjuster works.Thing is it will raise the seat height up.
