JC
Right need to build a new PC, basically the I7's are out of my budget at the moment so thinking: AMD Phenom X4 9950 2.6GHz Black Edition Socket AM2+ 125W 4MB L2 Cache (512KBx4) Retail Boxed Processor but anyone any recomendations for a motherboard and a single gfx card ~£100, can't be asked with SLi again! Stu
I'd recommend one of the Intel 45nm CPU's, either dual or quad core depending on your budget. The Q9300 is a nice CPU, alternatively for dual core then a E8400 is pretty nifty, and good value!

Simonez
no need for the i7 mr JC, although was thinking of one haha, the old Q6600 still does everything for now, just an excess which i dont require at the mo, and its down to preference on AMD / Intel, totally up to you mate, id go for the AMD Phenom II chips, not the older ones mate. or an Intel Core2duo Dual core / Quad price depending! mainboard, depends what you want from it, it for overclocking? or just general use with loads of features? id stick to main brands, with good warrantys etc just incase, and for Graphics card, you couldnt go wrong with a GTS 250, can pick them up for under £100 Edited April 14, 2009 by Simonez
