MOT

**caz**

Recommended Posts

as many of you have probably read on other posts of mine, my escort has its MOT next week!

Is there anything I can do to make sure that it passes? I know it sounds like a silly question but I know the obvious ...tyres, lights etc. What about the emissions? Is there anything that will help it have improved emissions?

Ive only owned the car for a couple of months so I dont know how the car is in regards to MOT requirements!

Thanks

just use a standard injector cleaner that you add to the fuel tank and change the airfilter,, also if you can take it for a good fast drive just before the test time so the engine is nice and hot, and dont be afraid to blow the cobwebs out of it ) Edited by charlie74

check all bulbs, break lights, indicators, wipers etc and replace if buggered

as far as im aware all those are ok! the rear wiper is a little juddery on the return but hopefully it wont be raining so he will just see it works and the rubber is fine on it! all lights as far as im aware work, well last time i checked i will do a final check before the test!

take the mot'er back to yours :P

haha! very funny! lol
