Need 2 new front tyres so I though it would be cheaper just to get 2 wheels from the scrap yard with decent tread on them. Should I take the measurements off mine and look for the same wheel

The 13 inch wheels on a van are different - they used to have a stamp on them saying 'VAN', as the standard wheels rub on the inner arch

Oh bugger, last time I went to my scrappy he had a set of 16's mondy wheels in. If still there I might buy but would they rub?

by mondy you meen the gti style? then yes on a car, no on a van, but mondeo alloys have the wrong tyre size for the escort....... they fit, but the profile is wrong
