lee grout Posted October 13, 2010 Share Posted October 13, 2010 Im gutted iv read this so late on in the project. 1 tip I would of shared was that when spraying pepper red I noticed it wasn't dark enough! how did I fix this.... After primer, base coat of black! As the pepper red is a bit transparent, you can see through it. that why it looks lighte cos of your yellow primer. basecoat of black then pepper red would solve this! good job with the finish though. Also forgot to mention have converted Interior lights to RED LED , and the switches , just need to do the clocks and heater dials and that will have to grab a picy! What do you think about removing the bump strips from the doors. the faded black bump strip look is a bit rubbish unless you worried about banging your doors.
