I had to renew my insurance the other day, cheapest i found was Admiral, i had me as owner, main driver, and my parents as named drivers,

 

 

19years old

Me: 500 voluntary excess - 250 compulsory excess

Mum: 500 voluntary

Dad: 500 voluntary

 

1.6 finesse T reg 5-door

6000 miles a year

not modified

parked on a locked drive

1 claim (my dads roof rack off his car in feb)

live in liverpool

2 years no claims

 

Quote was : £1206 then when i wanted direct debit they turned that upto £1702.22

try brentacre insurance, good prices, cover all cosmetic mods at no extra cost and will let you modify your engine up to a preset BHP limit. got very good prices on a 1.4 and 1.6 engine with them, although i cant afford athe 1.6 personally its a cheap quote compared to all others i have had
