SLEEMAN
hey guys, right just a quick question really i'm gonna be getting a new set of tyres this weekend i know which make i'm going for, its a cheap but cheerful tyre make and i have seen the tyres themselves. the place that sells them say that i should go for a set of 215/45/17's on my OZ superleggera 17x7j wheels for a mixture of road comfort and reliability, but i'm not sure whether they may rub as my car is lowered on koni's only 30-40mm but i still want a 45 profile fitted for a bit more comfort! so just need your opinions should i go for: 215/45/17 or 205/45/17?? as the 205 is £20 cheaper so would be easier on my wallet as well lol! dutchkev
i had 205 on my 7j's and they had a slight stretch to em and didnt protect the rim edge, so would go 215, but thats just me

dutchkev
correct! for them to work well youd need the 215 so they would sit over the rim
