Having just got back from my holiday on the North Coast of Trinidad ive got myself some spare cash as everything out there is so cheap!!

A bottle of beer cost 70p

Anyway with the spare cash im going to upgrade my factory ford head unit with a Sony front feed cd player and get some speakers and some 6x9's.

Just wanted to know do you lot have for instant 13cm speakers in the front and two 6x9's in the back?! Or different?! Just wanted to know as i wastnt 2 sure how i should do it........

Also where are you rear speakers poistioned? In the back doors or boot?!

Cheers

Dave

right get your front speakers changed to some nice components, you can fit bigger speakers in there with adapter plates

your front speakers are the ones you need to have the best quality possible in...

you can easily cut 6x9's into your rear speaker positions, DO NOT RUIN YOUR PARCEL SHELF

they sound a lot better in the old speaker holes also, and move a lot less.

see how too guide on the main site...

as standard you dont have any speakers in the rear door, ive never seen any escort with them...

I've got a MD head unit and 10 CD changer hooked up to 17cm three-way speakers in the front. They sound pretty damn good, although the bass is rather lame. I think I'll build an install with a 12" sub and a couple of amps in it, and replace my (broken) rear speakers with some middle of the range speakers of some description to fill out the sound a bit.
