1996 1.8 si With full RS2000 conversion

Hi Im lookin to sell my Pepper red Escort 85k, had it for 2 years spend over 2 grand building it.

Its was a standard 1.8si when i bought it. I got bord and found a mint RS2000 engine with only 70k on it, cam chain was changed and an AP racing clutch was fitted wen the engine was put in. Its done 12k since the engine was put in.

Ive fitted jamex shocks with spax springs, RS brakes on front with Grooved and drilled discs and green stuff pads.

Rear RS disc beam with brand new bushs, new arms and bushs on the front, new engine mounts, strut brace, stainless engine cover. Full Stainless Powerflow system with decat and pipercross induction kit.

Havnt used it on the road for a few months was goin to keep it for a track car but need the money for travelling now.

It turns over but wont start becouse the fuse box has died, but can get it sorted if anyone is interested in buying it.

It would be a good project or if sumone wonts to use it a doner as all the running gear is in good condition. It was a great car to drive loads of fun and I serviced it well aswell. No Mot or tax

The IB5 wont fit an RS2000, its got the MTX one which is a lot stronger. The car has nothing left on that belonged to the zetec, including the master brake piston, rad fan, shafts, C.V joints, hubs, loom, ecu, subframe its all different etc, If anyone ever conciders converting to RS be aware it can be a pain in the arse to get all the right bits cus nothing the same really. Its all converted properly I did most it myself dont trust machanics they forget to do up bolts some times lol. No offence to any on here tho

Hi guys took loads of pics today, I forgot its got an original fitted electric sunroof, nice little extra. The car needs a couple of tyres and wipers to pass, £600 with an MOT if theres nothing els I missed.

I cought the bumper on a verge when I reversed it damaged it. Ive got a spare one which is included in the sale.

The rear one has a couple of cracks in it, no rust anywhere, archs are mint. The skirts are genuine.

Mileage on car is 90,000. Engine has 80,000, cam chain and racing clutch was dont at 70,000 when i put it in.

Hi guys This escort is for breaking now I havnt got the time sort it out.

 

Full RS2000 engine, I4 box, drive shafts, new wishbones, new rollbars, polybush antirol bushs, piper cross Induction kit, Loom, RS ECU with key. basic everything you need to convert any mk6 or 5 escort to an RS with 150bhp and loads of torque. I have a MK5 RS ECU aswell.

Engine has done 80,000 can be seen running, had the timing chain, full service and has a AP racing clutch fitted 5000 miles ago. Performed very well best ford engine I ever had never let me down. I paid £550 for it. £350 for everything. £400 with the RS Brakes which are drilled and grooved Green stuff pads Etc.

 

Rear Beam of a MK5 RS2000 with discs brakes that are spot on loads of life left in them, Il chuck in the new handbrake cable and focus lever and new ford bushs £140 ono

 

Stainless Magnex and power flow exhaust system the rear box is Mag and the centre section is powerflow, will fitt any MK6 Zetec or RS2000 £100 ono

 

Jamex shocks and Spax 40mm lowering springs I bought em new only on the car a year £120 ono

 

Electric sunroof and loom all the stuff £40 ono

 

SI Raven flow wing back full interior no rips nice and firm couple of small fag burns in the back £50 ono cud do with a clean

 

RS2000/GTi genuine ford side skirts/rear spats in pepper red. All jacking covers present £80

 

Rear lower cossie spoiler Mk 6 £40

 

16ich mondeo ST24 alloys in great condition couple of little marks with with nackerd tyres £100

With newish tyres that have got 8-10mm tread and top brands 205/16/45, £170
