mykez69
Well, I'm thinking of a new small indoor hobbie and I have quite fancied building a custom pc case. Something like Sidrick did with a NES. I have wanted to do one for ages, and since my craptop just sits on a shelf collecting dust I thought I would butcher it to fit into something else. But what? I did want to do one into a Nintedo Wii, but that isn't going to happen with the craptop I have. I would pref like to keep the LCD screen, so thought maybe placing everything into a Xbox 360 case, have the screen ontop mounted underneath a clear window, then all the components underneath is and use a usb mouse or keyboard. Keep the screen isn't a preference as I could just link it to the TV. What is your suggestions? who else has done one? Links to other projects? smithyandco
There is a magazine called Custom PC I used to read a lot... That used to be pretty good for tips and tricks
Gadge
Maybe put the components into an old sky digital box, virgin box or DVD player..something along them lines. I plan to do similar when I built a new media centre so it doesn't stand out.
