Server AV

Most people tend to not run AV on servers...

I was thinking this as many sources say to rely on keeping updates in check & using built in firewall amongst other routine checks.

ClamWin seems to be fairly common, doesnt do real time scanning but it can be set to run as a daily script if youre that way inclined.

I run Sophos on mine, but thats not free.

perhaps this is use to you?

Server 2008 AV

64bit - yes, and the comments section on the first link (the list of AVs) has people who say they are using it on server 2008 x64. Dont know how good it is, but considering some people dont bother at all then I guess some protection is better than none.

You could probably still script clamwin to run everyday aswell, between the two they will probably see everything.

Is this a personal server or a work one?
