bit more done today after abit of filing got the sandwich plate to fit as it was fouling on the block and not letting it fit flush

all hoses nice and tidy cable tied to stop them catching moving parts

Nice one. That foam will just sand down then slap loadsa fibreglass across the lot. Make sure you get it in there good else when you rub it down, any air bubbles underneath any thin layers will not be solid. Worst thing I had with mine! Come to do filler and several spots were so thin I dad to do another layer to make it solid enough :nutter: You'll find something like this takes forever and seem really slow but will come together quickly in the end :thumb:

Why chop the arch out? Why not just fit over the top?? Also you could cut the arch where flares out and only fix onto the car the bottom half, therefore no need to cut out top part of original wing. Plus its easier to blend into the curve rather than feathering out to nothing on the top.
